Stained glass painting is a technique to paint on glass.

A mixture of water, vinegar, arabic gom and pigments is applied on the glass. The glass will be kilnfired  in a glasskiln at a temperature of about 600 degrees Celcius.

There are several steps in the process, first the contour lines are painted and kilnfired, then the shadows are applied and kilnfired, the last step is firing the colors into the glass.

The painting of glass has been done since the Middle Ages, and not much has changed in the way of working since then.

Below you can see some pictures of glass painting projects in progress, which shows that I use these old techniques to realize modern and unusual glass works.

I can also do traditional glasspainting designs, you can find some pictures here.
