Stained glass painting is a technique to paint on glass.
A mixture of water, vinegar, arabic gom and pigments is applied to the glass. These pigments are burned into the glass at a temperature of about 600 degrees Celcius.
There are several steps in the process, first the contour lines are painted and kilnfired, then the shadows are applied and kilnfired, the last step is firing the colors into the glass.
The painting of glass has been done since the Middle Ages, and not much has changed in the way of working since then.
